Interests: I am a third or fourth generation Bible thumping born again, and if you dont know what that is, please feel free to ask me! I would LOVE to tell you all about it! I love music, it has always been a huge part of my life. My father is a musician and his love of piano has been passed down to me. While I no longer take lessons, I like to sit and play. My music taste vary, since I like bands such as the bluegrass Alisson Krauss and Union Station to the 'Celtic Pop Rock' band Carbon Leaf. I also love Nickel Creek {and the solo albums of each member in the band} along with others such as Sixpense None the Richer, and South Sixty Five, Joe Nichols, Casting Crowns, Rascal Flatts and many more.
I am a shop adict! I have to say, though I dont think I am one of those "ditzy blonde shop till you drop using all my credit cards", kind of adict. No, I am more of the "Red headed, lets go spend all my money on things for everyone I know and things I may not need and then wonder where my money went

| "As the plane took off from the Xi'An airport, the sound of soft crying could be heard. They were not the tears of a college student heading toward a new year in the big city. Nor were they the tears of a scared young person starting a new life in Beijing. No, they were the tears of the red head from Michigan, bound for her native country.
I don't cry because I am leaving the city of Xi'An. I don't cry for its markets, it's fountains, the ice cream everyday, or the exciting night life with people out dancing!
I cry because I leave behind me dozens of faces I am going to see in my thoughts and dreams everyday for the next year....and many more to come.
I cry because, even with my ipod playing, I can still hear the sobs of a little boy just two months out of unneeded surgery, who is never given any pain killers.
And though it is just a photo I look at, I get lost in the deep sad eyes of the baby who stole the biggest portion of my heart. And I realize that even if my hearts desire comes true and we are able to make that little girl part of our family for good, it is a long way in the future!
I have to return to the States.
I can't keep every child.
And, as hard as it is to swallow, I cant help every little life that needs rescuing.
I can't even do much to help all the ones I have met!
But this knowledge does not make the truth any easier to deal with.

I am LOVING the heat!! Summer is here, for now! Maybe I can become less of a ghost before I head over to China.
In other news, I will be spending about 24 hours in the Seattle Airport next month. Whos up for late night chats and text sessions? Gonna be there by myself from about 10pm one day till one the next afternoon, so I'm gonna need PLENTY to keeo me busy!! Any takers? lol

Its down to the wire now! Blackhawks face off against the Flyers for the cup! Hockey is coming to an end for this season! :( Sad. Hockey play that is! Then there are the hockey awards and the draft still to come.
The preseason starts in September! :) I just found out too, that one team is holding part of their preseason in CHINA! Shanghai to be exact! I will have left the country less than a month before they begin their games in the Asian city! Wonder if it is too late to have my ticket date changed?! ;)
